MyCap uses a configuration versioning system. When a participant opens their MyCap mobile app, it sends a request to the REDCap server to see if a new configuration version has been published. The mobile app updates itself as needed if a new version is found.

Changes made to Instruments (new fields, revised response options) do not require publishing a new version and are available in the app: 1) immediately for projects in Development status and 2) after Confirming Draft Changes for projects in Production status.

Changes to MyCap Settings (task settings/schedules, app settings, additional settings) require a new version to be published before participants will see the changes. The Publish new MyCap version button will become active when there are changes made to MyCap settings that should be published.

Select a REDCap instrument ZIP file on your computer that you downloaded from an external instrument library or from another project/user, and then click the Upload button below. Once it has been successfully uploaded, it will be added as the last data collection instrument in the project.

Are you sure you wish to delete the data collection instrument named "" and all its fields?
You may download a REDCap data collection instrument as a ZIP file from an external REDCap instrument library in order to add the instrument to your project. These instrument ZIP files may additionally include attachment files for Descriptive fields in the instrument. Once an instrument ZIP file has been download from a library, click the Upload instrument ZIP button on this page to import the instrument into your project.
Listed below are various external instrument libraries where a data collection instrument may be downloaded and uploaded into REDCap as an instrument ZIP file. NOTE: These third-party websites are *not* affilliated with REDCap in any way, nor is REDCap responsible for their content. These organizations have made assurances that the instruments distributed on their website do not violate copyright law in any way.
